Class Summary: Field course designed for advanced lineman. "Hands on" approach to reconductor using energized conditions without disruption of service.
Prerequisites: 1: Must complete Aerial gloving I, Aerial device capabilities and capacities, Introduction to stinging equipment, Sag techniques, Methods of conductor replacement. Students must bring their own rubber gloves, rubber sleeves, hand tools, harness, hard hat, safety glasses, long sleeve shirt and other PPE. Students will spend one day in the classroom and three days in the field.
