Mesa Hotline School’s Board of Directors believes that it is in the best interest of their Member Companies to support the education of future employees in the power line worker industry. Mesa Hotline School’s Board of Directors has given approval for a maximum of ten $1500 scholarships to be awarded for the 2010-2011 school year. The ten scholarships will be given to students attending accredited programs in the power line worker industry. The accredited program must be approved by the Mesa Hotline School's Board of Directors.
The purpose of the program is to provide financial assistance for students enrolled in post secondary accredited and approved programs and are current Mesa Hotline School Member Companies customers or immediate family. To be eligible to apply for these scholarships, the student or immediate family must currently be a customer of a Mesa Hotline school member company.
Applications must be submitted in writing to Mesa Hotline School’s Scholarship Committee.
Applications must be typed or printed and include an essay detailing the students industry desires and aspirations.
The Student must be a full-time registered student in an accredited program for the 2010-2011 school year and applicant must include information for a contact person with the school.
Checks to the sucessfull applicants will be mailed to the selected students schools. The checks will be payable to the student named on the application upon completion of the program. Applicants that have graduated prior to the scholarships being awarded will be issued a check directly to the student name on the application.
The selection committee will be using the written application information and an oral interview. The scholarship winners will be announced in January 2011.
Mesa Hotline School will announce the names of the winning applicants and the names of the institution the student attended at their annual Mesa Hotline School Banquet in May of 2011.
Other than the payments of the scholarships, no obligation or liability is assumed by Mesa Hotline School or its Board of Directors. The program may be discontinued at any time at the discretion of the Mesa Hotline School board of Directors.

Five scholarships will be awarded to students enrolled in the WCCC Electric Line Worker Program.
The purpose of this program is to provide financial assistance for students enrolling in post-secondary accredited and approved programs. To be eligible to apply for these scholarships, the student must be enrolled in the WCCC Electric Lineworker Program.
Applications must be submitted in writing to Mesa Hotline School Scholarship Committee prior to December 1, 2010.
Applications must be typed or printed and include an essay detailing the applicants industry desires and aspirations.
The student must be a full-time student enrolled in the WCCC Electric Lineworker Program for the 2010/2011 school year.
Checks will be mailed to the successful applicants prior to January 31, 2011. The checks will be payable to the student named on the application.
The selection committee will grade the applicants on their written application and oral interviews will be scheduled for successfull applicants. The oral interviews will take place on Wednesday January 12th beginning at 9:00 am at the Double Tree Hotel in Grand Junction.
Mesa Hotline School will announce the names of the winning applicants and the name of the institution the student is attending at their annual Mesa Hotline School Banquet in May of 2011.
